Initially created as part of an activity to explore design elements and principles, I decided to re-create a collage piece of mine into an album cover. I chose this as I found that my style of work was very similar to the designs of the album covers produced by SALES – an American indie-pop band. Using the discography of their newest album, I began to mock up vinyl records and merchandise such as t-shirts, sweaters and tote bags. This task taught me more Photoshop skills, as I learnt how to use Photoshop templates, create drop shadows, and transform my images to fit the mock-up.
